Richard Lewis Grant

Richard Lewis Grant has been an educator for over 30 years and was formerly the President of Advantage Preparatory Schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders with an emphasis on Special Education of the hearing impaired. He has taught professionally at both Jr. High and Sr. High School levels as well as college. He has also had a long career as a Systems Analyst and a Technical Writer.

Richard has a son and a daughter. When they were young, Richard made a point of reading good books aloud to them every night and telling them stories he created. They especially loved the stories. Admittedly, children grow faster than books. The stories Richard told his children have now been published as The I Love To Read Series (Silverglade, Goldenrod and Emeraldsea books). They are loved by middle-grade readers, young adult readers and adults. The I Love To Read Series of books are in production as audio books.          

 

His newest book is for adults. Darklight AI is a multi-layered techno thriller. In performing research for the book, Richard consulted with a current FBI Special Agent, a current member of the LAPD Metro Division, a current executive of a major US bank, a current educator in Ukraine, a former member of US Military Intelligence and a former CIA Intelligence Officer. Darklight AI is in production as an audio book. Darklight AI is fiction, but it feels real. The technologies described are fictional, but perhaps not for very long.
