Like most series of books, each book in The I Love To Read Series builds upon the previous ones and look forward toward the next. Each of the Silverglade, Goldenrod and Emeraldsea books can be read solo, but the story as a whole is best enjoyed when read in sequence. The first book, Silverglade The Dream, has the least pages of all seven books in this series. This is by design. We want to give young readers success in finishing a book. For some, it might be the first book they finish on their own. Each book thereafter grows in pages and plot. The last book in the series, Emeraldsea Sunrise, is the largest in terms of pages and complexity. All seven books can be enjoyed by young and older readers, including grandparents reading to their dear ones. Give your children the love of reading and you open the whole world to them. You just might have fun too.

YES! The I Love To Read Series of books is designed to give children of all ages a LOVE FOR READING. The books can be read aloud to young lovers of fantasy and adventure. They are easily understood by readers 12 years and older; however, many younger readers will read them and love them. Older readers, including college and above, find them intriguing. The books are designed to capture the imagination and not let go. Readers frequently say they just want more. Maybe these books should have a warning label: “May cause lack of sleep”. How to know? A good rule of thumb is your relationship to The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. If you like NARNIA you will love SILVERGLADE, GOLDENROD and EMERALDSEA. The two Silverglade books and their companion Goldenrod and Emeraldsea books tell the exceptional story of ordinary people faced with extraordinary events.
